ADONIA (P&O Cruises)
Cruise ship built at St. Nazaire that entered service in 2001 as R Eight the last of the "R" class but by the end of that year Renaissance were bankrupt and the ship was seized and laid up in Marseilles. In 2003 she was re-activated as Minerva II for Swan-Hellenic and in 2007 passed to sister company, Princess, as Royal Princess. Transferred again in 2011 she became Adonia for P&O. In 2016 she transferred within the Carnival group to a new brand, Fathom, operating cruises deemed to have "a positive social impact". She returned to P&O in 2017 but was then sold to Azamara Cruises and after a refit from 3/2018 she entered service as Azamara Pursuit in 8/2018.
