HMS ALAMEIN

Battle class destroyer built by Hawthorn, Leslie & Co, Tyneside, and commissioned into the Royal Navy in 1946. She suffered a major fire when at Chatham Dockyard 5/11/1958 and the following year was decommissioned and placed in reserve, Broken up at Blyth in 1964.
