ALBLASSERDYK (Holland America Line)

Built 1943 at Tacoma, USA as Bastian but transferred to Great Britain under Lease-Lend. Completed as the escort aircraft carrier HMS Trumpeter. Converted to cargo ship in 1947 and acquired by the Holland-America Line in 1948, renamed Alblasserdijk, changing to Alblasserdyk in 1953. Sold in 1966 and renamed Irene Valmas, she was broken up in 1971.
