AMERIKANIS (Chandris Cruises)
Built 1952 by Harland & Wolff for Union-Castle Line as Kenya Castle, for service round Africa and later to Durban via East Africa. Withdrawn in 1967 she was purchased by Chandris who rebuilt her as the cruise ship Amerikanis. After a successful career she was laid up in 1996, and was scrapped 2001 in India.
