ANDES (Royal Mail Lines)
Passenger liner built by Harland & Wolff, Belfast, that should of made her maiden voyage September 1939, but was instead converted into a troopship at Liverpool. She eventually made her first commercial voyage, with a black hull, Southampton to South America in 1948. In 1959 she was rebuilt at Flushing (Vlissingen) as a one class cruise ship and painted white. In 1971 she was broken up at Ghent, Belgium.
