ANSELM
Passenger and cargo liner built 1950 at Hoboken, Belgium, as Baudouinville for the West Africa service of Cie. Maritime Belge. Renamed Thysville in 1957, same owner and route. Sold in 1961 to Booth SS Co. and renamed Anselm for the Liverpool-Manaus service. Transferred to Blue Star in 1963 and renamed Iberia Star, Liverpool-River Plate route. Chartered to Austasia Line in 1965 and renamed Australasia for service between Australia and the Far East. Austasia became the owners in 1971, but she was withdrawn at the end of 1972 and broken up at Hualien, Taiwan, in 1973.
