ANTE TOPIC (Slobodna Plovidba Topic)

Cargo ship built by Northumberland Shipbuilders in 1911 as Oreland for Noreuro Traders of London. In 1915 ownership passed to Palace Shipping then Hazelwood Shipping. Sold in 1931 to Slobodna Plovidba Topic (Yugoslavia) and renamed Ante Topic. Sold to Shipping Feric in 1939 and renamed Vick Feric. In 1942 she passed to the US War Shipping Administration and was renamed Flight Command. In 1944 she was scuttled as part of the Gooseberry (later Mulberry) harbour off Omaha Beach, Normandy.
