ASIA (Lloyd Triestino)
Passenger liner built at San Marco, Italy, that entered service in 1953 as Asia on the Italy to Hong Kong service which became Italy to Karachi via Cape Town following the closure of the Suez Canal in 1967. Sold in 1975 and rebuilt as a livestock carrier, renamed Persia. Broken up 1985/6 Gadani Beach, Pakistan.
