AUGUSTUS (Italia)

Made her maiden voyage as Augustus in 1952, Genoa to South America. From 1957 to 1961 she operated the New York service to replace the lost Andrea Doria. Withdrawn in 1976 then sold and renamed Great Sea but laid up in Hong Kong. In 1980 renamed Great King but remained laid up, and in 1982 moved to Manila and renamed Philippines, but still inactive, some use as an accommodation ship. Renamed President in 1985 and returned to Hong Kong. 1987 at Keelung and now called Asian Princess, reportedly refitted for cruising and in 1988 moved to Kaohsiung. By 1999 she was back in Manila and refitted for use as a floating hotel, renamed Philippines, again. Broken up at Alang in 2012.

GIULIO CESARE (Italia)

Passenger liner built at Monfalcone that made her maiden voyage, Genoa to South America, in 1951. Laid up in 1973 following steering problems and was then broken up at La Spezia.
