AUTHOR (T&J Harrison)

Container ship built in 12/1980 at Gdansk for the Caribbean Overseas Line but shortly after completion was sold to a finance company and chartered to Ben Line as Benarmin with T&J Harrison as managers. At the end of the charter in 1982 she was renamed Author for T&J Harrison. Sold to Ambassador Shipping in 1995 but remained on charter to Harrisons until 1999 when she was renamed SCL Infanta for the Maersk Group. Sold in 2000 and renamed Safmarine Infanta. Renamed MSC Corsica in 2002. Broken up 2009 at Alang.
