BARRACOO
Cargo liner built in 1919 by Robert Thompson & Son, Sunderland, as Barracoo for Elder Dempster. Laid up at Bideford in 1931. Sold in 1933 to Nicolas Eustathion, Piraeus, and renamed Michalakis. Sold in 1939 to Yamashita Kisen KK, Kobe, and renamed Kasuyama Maru. Sunk 8/2/1943 by American submarine USS Tunny, west of Formosa.
