BISON (B+I Line)
RoRo ferry built at Hamburg as Bison in 1975 for Pandoro, a subsidary of P&O. She was lengthened in 1980, and chartered to B&I in 1989, keeping her name. Rebuilt again in 1993 but this affected her stability and she had an extra vehicle deck added to cure this in 1995. Her owners name changed to P&O Irish Sea in 1998 and she was renamed European Pioneer. In 2004 she was transferred to Stena Line and renamed Stena Pioneer. Sold to Russian interests in 2011 and renamed Ant 1 operating Zonguldak (Turkey) - Kavkaz (Russia). Broken up at Aliaga in 2014.
