CAESAREA (British Rail Southern Region)
Passenger ferry built at Cowes and entered service as Caesarea on the Weymouth - Channel Islands service in December 1960. From 1975 sailing out of Dover or Folkestone. Sold in 1980 to Hong Kong owners with the intention of using her as a casino ship. Renamed Aesarea she was laid up at Hong Kong, probably never used. In 1986 she went to Kure, Japan for conversion to a hotel but later that year was broken up in South Korea.
