CARTHAGE (Cie Generale Transatlantique)
Passenger liner built by Swan Hunter, Newcastle, that entered service between Marseilles and Tunis in 1910. Converted into an armed merchant cruiser in 1914 and a troopship in 1915. On 4/7/1915 she sank at anchor in the Aegean after being torpedoed by U212.
