HMS CENTAUR

Light fleet aircraft carrier built by Harland & Wolff, Belfast, that was launched in 1947 but not commissioned in to the Royal Navy until 1953. Decommissioned in 1965 followed by periods of use as an accommodation ship. Broken up at Cairnryan in 1972.
