CHANTILLY (Societé Nationale des Chemins de fer Francais)
Passenger and car ferry built by Dubigeon Normandy, Nantes, for SNCF as Chantilly in 1965, for Dover-Calais service, with stern loading for vehicles only. In 1976 was rebuilt for drive-through with the addition of a bow door. In 1983 was transferred to Newhaven-Dieppe and in 1987 became the reserve ship. Sold in 1988, operated by Agapitos as Olympia, then renamed Europa Link in 1990, firstly for GT-Link then for COMANAV. Sold and renamed Baltavia for Europa Linjen in 1993, then sold in 1996 and renamed El Salam 93, operating as a pilgrim ship in the Red Sea. Broken up at Alang in 2002.
