Sold in 1971 to Karageorgis Lines and renamed Mediterranean Island with plans to rebuild her as a car ferry. Little work was carried out and in 1975 she was renamed Mediterranean Sun with plans to rebuild her as a cruise ship. Again little work was carried out and in 1980 she was towed to Kaohsiung for breaking up.
