Product information

Stern-loading car ferry built in 1958 by Chargeurs Reunis Loire-Normandy for SAGA as Compiegne, originally for the Calais to Dover route later also operating from Boulogne. In 1981 sold to Strintzis Lines and renamed Ionian Glory, entering service for them in 1982 Brindisi - Corfu - Igoumenitsa - Patras. Sold in 1989 to Vergina Lines as Queen Vergina for Piraeus - Haifa service. In 1990 she was Freedom I, a refugee hostel at Malmo. In 1994 sold to Raneem Shipping, Jeddah, and renamed Katerina for Red Sea pilgrim traffic. In 1995 sold to Waad Shipping as Al Amirah/Al Almeerah. Status unknown but probably broken up.
