vessel not named on postcard but has been identified as Dalles City

Stern-wheeler built at Portland in 1891 that operated on the Columbia River between Portland and The Dalles carrying passengers and cargo. In January 1905 she struck a rock near Stevenson, Washington, and had to be beached. Later refloated and repaired she is reported as being rebuilt in 1909 but further history unknown.
