DEUTSCHLAND (Deutsche Bundesbahn)
Vessel on Lake Constance (Bodensee). Built as Deutschland in 1935 for the German State Railway company. Renamed Rhin et Danube by the French occupying forces from 1945 to 1949. After returning to German control she was renamed Lindau, reverting to Deutschland in 1952. In 1970 she was renamed Uberlingen II. She was converted to a restaurant ship in 1993 and broken up in 2006.
In this view, the paddle steamer Bavaria and 2 other unidentified vessels may also be seen.
