DUCHESS OF SCANDINAVIA (DFDS)

Passenger and vehicle ferry built 1993 as Bergen for Fjord Line for service between Bergen and Hanstholm. The hull was built at Landskrona, Sweden, and she was completed at Rissa, Norway. Between 2003 and 2005 she was chartered to DFDS as Duchess Of Scandinavia for service between Cuxhaven and Harwich. Sold in 11/2004 To Bergensfjord KS but still chartered to DFDS until they ended the charter 10/2005. Renamed Atlantic Traveller she returned to the Bergen - Hanstholm run. Renamed Bergensfjord at the start of 2008, Hanstholm - Kristiansand service and owned by Fjord Line from March that year. Based at Hirtshals from 10/2008. Renamed Oslofjord in 1/2014 and operating Stromstad-Sandefjord from 6/2014.
