EAGLE (Southern Ferries)

Originally built for Southern Ferries as Eagle for Southampton to Tangier car ferry service, Between 1975 and 1987 she sailed for Paquet as Azur, during this time (1981) she was converted to a full-time cruise ship. She passed to Chandris in 1987 becoming The Azur. She kept this name for Festival Cruises between 1994 and 2004. When Festival collapsed in 2004 she was sold to Golden Cruises (Mano Maritime) and renamed Royal Iris. Laid up at Chalkis in 2014. Renamed Roy Star in 9/2016. Sold in 2017 to Russian company Black Sea Cruises and renamed Knyaz Vladimir.
