EAGLE III (Williamson-Buchanan)
Paddle steamer built by A&J Inglis with the hull sub-contracted out to Napier & Miller Ltd. Built for the Glasgow-Dunoon-Rothesay-Kyles Of Bute round trip, when she entered service in 1910 she was withdrawn soon after due to defects in her hull and did not re-appear until the following year. In WW1 she served as a minesweeper and in WW2 she ran aground at Dunkirk and was used as a jetty. Although she saw further service, after the war she was deemed too old for refurbishment and was broken up.
