EARL GODWIN (Sealink)

Passenger and vehicle ferry built at Landskrona that entered service as Svea Drott in 1966 on Trave Line route, Helsingborg - Travemunde. In 1974 she was chartered to Rederi Gotland for service between Visby and Oskarshamn. later that year chartered to British Railways for cover on the Weymouth - Channel Islands route. At the end of the year she was sold to Lloyd's Leasing for charter to British Railways/Sealink and renamed Earl Godwin early in 1975, operating on the Channel Islands service and later Weymouth-Cherbourg and Portsmouth-Cherbourg. Sold in 1990 to Moby Lines and renamed Moby Baby, operating to Elba from Piombino.
