Ocean going tug built at Kinderdijk, the Netherlands, that entered service in 2/1959 as Elbe for L. Smit & Co. Sold in 1976 and converted to an ocean going pilot vessel at Baltimore, USA, and renamed Maryland. In 1984 she was sold to Greenpeace at first renamed Gondwana, then after being converted to an action vessel at Amsterdam was renamed Greenpeace. Now she is an active museum ship at Maasluis and, renamed Elbe, has been restored to her original condition as much as possible.
