EMBASSY (Cosens & Co)
Built by Henderson of Glasgow as Duchess Of Norfolk in 1911 for the London & South Western Railway and used on the joint railway companies service from Portsmouth to Ryde. She served in the Mediterranean as a minesweeper during WW1 and after re-conditioning from 1921 she passed to Southern Railways control in 1923. Sold to Cosens of Weymouth in 1937 and renamed Embassy operating excursions from Bournemouth and Weymouth. She served as a minesweeper again during WW2 returning to commercial service in 1947 with a new funnel. Broken up in Amsterdam in 1967.
