Rebuilt as a cruise ship in 1979, the company became Costa Cruises in 1987 and she was renamed Enrico Costa. Sold to Star Lauro in 1994 and renamed Symphony, becoming part of the Mediterranean Shipping Company fleet in 1995. Sold in 2000 to Golden Sun Cruises and renamed Aegean Spirit. Chartered to Festive Holidays in June 2001 and renamed Ocean Glory 1. Arrested on arriving at Dover July 2001 by the Maritime & Coastguard Agency re historical complaints about the ship. She never saw service again and was broken up at Alang.
