EXPRESS SANTORINI (Hellenic Seaways)
Built by Dubigeon Normandy, Nantes, as the multi-purpose train/car/passenger ferry Chartres for SNCF/Sealink in 1973. In 1991 chartered to French Government during the first Gulf War. Sold 1993 to Agapitos Lines and renamed Express Santorini, a name she kept throughout further service with Minoan Flying Dolphins, Hellas Ferries, Hellenic Seaways and Atlanticoline. From 2008 she was chartered each summer by Atlanticoline for service in the Azores. Sold in 2014 to Portucalace Shipping, Madeira, still chartered to Atlanticoline. Sold in 11/2016 to Al Makrani Cargo Co (Abu Dhabi) and renamed Al Salmy 4.
