GENEVE (Compagnie de Generale Navigation sur le Lac Leman)
Paddle steamer built in 1896 by Gebruder Sulzer, Winterthur, for service on Lac Leman. Empress Elisabeth of Austria was assassinated on board 10/9/1898. Converted to diesel electric power in 1934. Out of service 1974 and became an accommodation/hostel ship at Geneva.
