Product information

GLEN ROSA (The Hastings, St. Leonards & Eastbourne Steamboat Company)
Built for service on the Clyde but her owners struggled financially. She then spent about 20 years on the Thames with 4 different owners, In 1897 she was purchased by Alexander Campbell and was soon part of the P&A Campbell fleet. Shortly before WW1 she changed hands again and was cruising out of Hastings and Eastbourne. She served as a minesweeper during the war and was in a very poor condition by the end of it and was broken up in 1921.

Going by the date (1911) and the fact that the postcard is 'at' Brighton, I'm assuming she is pictured in the service of the above company.
