GOLDEN EAGLE (General Steam Navigation)
Paddle steamer built by John Brown, Clydebank, in 1909 for the General steam Navigation services on the Thames and Thames Estuary. She survived active service in both world wars and was refitted for commercial service after both. However, after WW2 the demand for excursions fell off dramatically and she was sold for breaking up in 1951.
