HORSA (Sealink British Ferries)
Car and passenger ferry built 1972 at Brest as Horsa for the Sealink routes out of Dover and Folkestone. With the formation of Sealink Stena Line in 1990 she was renamed Stena Horsa and as such closed services out of Folkestone on 31/12/1991. Sold in 1992 and became Penelope A for Agoudimos Lines, operating between Rafina and Mykonos. Sold to Minoan Flying Dolphins in 1999 and placed in Hellas Ferries service as Express Penelope. Returned to Agoudimos in 2004 as Penelope A, same service as before. Chartered to Nel Lines in 2013 after which the crew went on strike for not being paid and remained on the ship for 4 months at Rafina, after which the ship was arrested. She was later towed to Eleusis Bay and remained laid up. Sold 1/2025, as a wreck, for breaking up at Aliaga.
