ISLAND PRINCESS (Princess Cruises)
Cruise ship built at Emden, Germany, that entered service as Island Venture for Flagship Cruises in 1971. She was purchased by P&O/Princess in 1974, renamed Island Princess. She went to Hyundai Merchant Marine in 1999, cruising out of South Korea as Hyundai Pungak, Sold and renamed Platinum in 2001, and in 2002 cruising for Voyages Of Discovery as Discovery. In 2013 she started cruising for Cruise & Maritime Voyages. Withdrawn at the end of 2014 and sold for breaking up at Aliaga under the name of Amen.
