LA PALMA
Built in Middlesbrough in 1912 for Cia de Vapores Correos Interinsulares Canarios, part of the Elder Dempster group, for services within the Canary Islands. In 1930 she was transferred to Trasmediterranea. Withdrawn in 1976 and sold into private ownership at Las Palmas for possible conversion into a nightclub and restaurant. Ultimately restored and preserved, and since 2010 berthed at the North Pier in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
