LAPLAND (Red Star Line)

Built by Harland & Wolff she entered service for the Red Star Line in 1909 between Antwerp and New York. From 1914 to 1919 she was operated by the White Star Line, running Liverpool (occasionally Southampton) to New York. In 1920 she returned to the Antwerp route. Withdrawn from transatlantic service in 1932 she then made some Mediterranean cruises before being broken up in Japan in 1934.
