MARRAKECH (Cie Generale Transatlantique)
Passenger liner built at Port de Bouc that entered service in 1914 as Haiti for France-West Indies service, and later that year carried Haitian volunteers to Europe for the French Army. Modernised in 1929, renamed Marrakech and transferred to the Bordeaux-Casablanca route. Served the Vichy government in WW2, returning to normal service from 1946 to 1951 when she was withdrawn and broken up.
