NALDERA (P&O)
Passenger liner built by Caird & Co, Greenock, who became Harland & Wolff, Greenock, during the time of construction of this vessel. Laid down in 1913 but work stopped in 1914 with the outbreak of war. She was eventually launched 12/1917 and ordered to be completed as an Armed Merchant Cruiser but entered service in 1918 as a troopship. 24/3/1920 she finally entered commercial service on the Australia route. Transferred to the London - Bombay (Mumbai) - Far East service in 1931. Broken up at Bo'ness in 1938.
