NEVASA (British India Line)
Built by Barclay Curle & Co., Glasgow, as a full-time troopship in 1956, but laid up in the River Fal from 1962 when trooping switched to air transport. In 1964 she was converted, at Falmouth, to an educational cruise ship. Withdrawn at the start of 1975 as her powerful engines proved too expensive to run after the rise in oil prices. Broken up at Kaohsiung.
