NILS HOLGERSSON (TT-Line)

Passenger and vehicle ferry built at Bremerhaven and owned by Wallenius Shipping Company, she was chartered on completion in 1987 to TT Line and named Nils Holgersson for service between Trelleborg and Travemunde. Sold to Brittany Ferries in 1993 and renamed Val De Loire and after major renovation at La Spezia was placed on routes out of Plymouth to Santander or Roscoff and also Roscoff to Cork. She moved to Portsmouth in 2005 but was then sold to DFDS being renamed King Of Scandinavia in 2006 and placed in service between Newcastle and Ijmuiden. Renamed King Seaways in 2011.
