PORTREE (Scottish Transport)

Car ferry built in 1965 by James Lamont & Co., Glasgow, as Portree for the Caledonian Steam Packet service from the Kyle of Lochalsh to Skye. Built as a side-loader, in 1970 she was converted to a bow loader and transferred to the Kyles Of Bute service between Rhubodach and Colintraive. Sold for service as a tender on Holy Loch when replaced by new tonnage in 1986.
