SAGA ROSE (Saga Cruises)

Passenger liner built at La Seyne, France, that entered service in 1965 for Norwegian-America Line as Sagafjord. Oslo to New York service as well as cruising which gradually became her primary role. Purchased by Cunard in 1983, retaining her original name. Chartered to a German company in 1996 and renamed Gripsholm. Sold to Saga Cruises in 1997 and renamed Saga Rose. Broken up, 2010, at Chiangjiang, China.
