SAGA RUBY (Saga Cruises)

Cruise ship built 1973 by Swan-Hunter, Newcastle, for Norwegian-America Line as Vistafjord. The company was purchased by Cunard in 1983 but originally she kept her original name until 1999 when renamed Caronia. Sold in 2004 to Saga Cruises and renamed Saga Ruby. Withdrawn from service in January 2014, and sold to Far Eastern interests and renamed Oasia for use as a floating hotel, something which never happened. She was broken up at Alang in 2017.
