SAGA SAPPHIRE (Saga Cruises)
Cruise ship built in 1981 by Bremer Vulkan for Hapag Lloyd as Europa. In 1999 she was sold to Star Cruises and renamed SuperStar Europe then SuperStar Aries. Sold to Pullmantur Cruises in 2004 and renamed Holiday Dream before being transferred to sister company Crosières de France in 2008 as Bleu De France. Saga Cruises purchased her in 2011 and she underwent a 3 month refit before entering service as Saga Sapphire for that company. Sold in 2020 to Turkish owners and renamed Blue Sapphire.
