FERRY NO. 3 (Bournemouth & Swanage Motor Road & Ferry Company)
Chain ferry built at Poole in 1958 for the Sandbanks-Studland service across the entrance to Poole Harbour. Replaced in 1994.
SWANAGE BELLE (Croson of Poole)
Built as a Fairmile B motor launch during WW2. She operated, commercially, in Guernsey in 1962 as Silver Commodore before being sold to Croson Ltd (Dorset Belles) and renamed Swanage Belle, operating excursions around Swanage, Bournemouth and Poole. She was renamed Wessex Belle in 1968 and sold for private use in 1973.
