SCYTHIA (Cunard Line)

Passenger liner built by Vickers, Barrow, but due to industrial action was finally fitted out at L'Orient. She entered service 1921 between Liverpool and New York. Requisitioned in 1939 as a troopship. Badly damaged from bombing in 1942, went to New York for repairs. From 1948-49 made voyages taking displaced people from Germany to Canada, re-entering commercial service in 1950. Broken up at Inverkeithing in 1958.
