SEABOURN SPIRIT (Seabourn Cruise Line)

Cruise ship built at Bremerhaven that entered service 11/1989 as Seabourn Spirit for Seabourn Cruise Line. On 5/11/2005 she was attacked by pirates with machine guns and rocket-powered grenades off the coast of Somalia. The pirates were repelled by a sonic device and no passengers were injured. In 2015 she transferred to Windstar Cruises and was renamed Star Breeze.
