SEACAT SCOTLAND (Hoverspeed)
High speed craft built by Incat Catamarans, Hobart, that entered service in 1992 as Seacat Scotland. After a few weeks on the Dover-Calais service she moved to Stranraer-Belfast. Chartered to Q-Ships, Qatar, in 1994 operating Doha-Dubai as Q Ship Express returning to her previous name and route in 1995. Some use on other routes including on the River Plate in 1997/8. Sold to Fortune Maritime in 2007 and originally renamed Shikra before entering service between Safaga and Dhuba as Al Huda 1. In 2010 she was chartered to Nel Lines as Cyclades Express. Laid up in 2011. Sold to Seajets in 2015 and renamed Naxos Jet.
