SEAFRANCE MONET (SeaFrance)

Built in 1973 at Trogir (then in Yugoslavia) as Stena Nordica, she was renamed Stena Danica upon entering service in 1974 between Gothenburg and Frederikshavn. She then bore several names: Stena Nordica, again (1981), Stena Nautica (1984), Versailles (1987), Stena Londoner (1992) and SeaFrance Monet after a rebuild in 1996 and now owned by SeaFrance. She hit the breakwater at Calais in 2000 sustaining quite major damage. She was then sold to Naviera Armas, repaired at Vigo and renamed Volcan De Tacande for service in the Canary Islands. She was broken up in Turkey in 2005.
