SNOWDROP (Wallasey Corporation)
Passenger ferry built in 1910 as Snowdrop for the Wallasey Corporation service across the Mersey. Sold in 1936 to the London & North Eastern Railway and renamed Thane Of Fife for Granton to Burntisland service, across the Firth Of Forth, after being converted to carry a number of vehicles. Served as a tender during WW2. Sold in 1948 to Mrs Speevack for excursion work out of Granton. Broken up after the 1953 summer season.
