SORLANDET
Three-masted full-rigged ship built in 1927 as a training ship for the Norwegian Merchant Navy. She was seized by the Germans in 1940, but was sunk in a Russian air raid. Raised and used as a depot ship for German U-Boat crews. Restored to her original training ship role in 1948. Sold in 1971 but inactive, then sold in 1979 and presented to the town of Kristiansand and operated as an international sail training ship.
